The FittaFeet Orthotics
The Fittafeet orthotic is designed to offer immediate support to the foot while allowing the first ray to plantarflex. 4 degree rearfoot posting reduces pronatory moments, while the shell is cut narrow beneath the first ray to aid unrestricted hallux dorsiflexion. The appliance is prevented from moving in the shoe via a full width top cover. Plantar bulk is kept to a minimum. Further control can be added to the appliance by adhering additional wedges to the rearfoot post. The shell material is thermo-mouldable to allow for shell contour customisation if required. The FittaFeet unified is supplied with a 4 degree rearfoot post, meaning often no further additions or modifications are required. However, the shell can be heated and adapted as required, or wedging can be added to the rearfoot.
